How long will the bath & spa heaters take to heat my outdoor bath or pool?
Our 6Kw Wood-fired Outdoor Bath Heater will take between 40 and 60 minutes to heat your outdoor bath from cold to ready.
For larger volumes of water, use our handy water heating calculator to enter your bath volume, current and target temps to get an exact heating time.
What fittings & hoses will i need to install the bath & spa heaters?
The bath & spa heaters come complete with the hoses and fittings to attach it to your outdoor bath.
Can I install this myself?
Can I over-heat my outdoor bath?
Yes. This is a straight-up water heater and if you keep adding fuel to your fire, the water temperature will continue to increase.
It is recommended that you do not heat the water above 41 degrees Celsius so you will need to check the water temperature before getting in and stop adding fuel to your fire when you’re nearing the desired safe temperature for you.

6kw bath heater
South Island Metro shipping for the 6kw bath heater is is $75 & $95 for rural delivery. North Island Metro shipping is $85 & $105 for rural delivery.
We can also ship the 6kw bath heaters to Australia. Shipping to Australia for the 6kw bath heater is $195 and the ash tray drawer is $45 when sent with bath heater.
16kw & 24kw spa heaters
Due to the size of these, we are only able to ship these to the nearest depot in the South Island & North Island. No rural delivery is available.
South Island shipping to the nearest depot for the 16kw & 24kw bath heaters is $130. North Island shipping to the nearest depot for the 16kw & 24kw bath heaters is $190.
Australia Shipping
We can only ship the 6kw bath heaters to Australia, see pricing above. We are also unable to ship the 16kw & 24kw bath heaters to Australia due to size constraints.
How much do these cost?
Our bath & spa heaters come complete with the main unit including the fire unit, spark arrestor and connection kit – Factory-direct and including GST.
We also have an ash tray drawer to help with the tidy-up which as an additional cost. See our shop for the latest pricing.
Are your spa burners safe to use?
These units contain the fire itself, you have a water-source nearby (your filled bath) and there is a spark arrestor at the top of the flue to prevent embers from escaping.
Provided you are tending to and checking on your fire and operating it in the intended way, these are safe to use.
Can I use this to heat my spa or hot tub?
